I wanted to share a few points on blogging and add to what you posted:

1.  Allocate the right amount time for each post.  It takes a long time to write a good blog.

2. Blogging is about sharing - so share your point of view.  Don&#039;t just report.  You MUST have a take.  Say **something**, and something of value: good, bad, ugly, hard, etc. and ultimately say it in a way that builds the brand you want.  

3. Blog regularly ...not off and on.  Decide what that cycle should be and stick to it (e.g. Patti&#039;s every 6-7 days ...).  Let your followers or subscribers inherently know how often to look for updates.

4. Create a pipeline of topics with at least a 4-post look ahead.  It helps you searching for ideas to blog.  It also helps you tell a consistent story/brand from one blog to the next.
