Interesting points but the degree of attentionyou pay to detail is an imperfect science.

You could get so lost in strategy and drawing pictures on the board and plotting grand vision, you could lose context for your business, ground realities of the workings of your team and what happening on a day to day basis. If you do not understand the &quot;how&quot; you are not necessarily in a postion to always be the leader plotting th future course. However burrowing into the detail in excess can cause more harm than good.

Maintaining the right mix of attention to detail versus strategy  is a continous balancing act.</description>
